The skies the limit when you have an imagination like Dr. Seuss and talent like those in this hop. I started scrapbooking because I wanted to make these wonderful layouts for my family albums. I must say that my skills as a scrapbooker have grown exponently as time goes by. I started scrapbooking approximately 25 years ago and I absolutely love it. I am going to show you an example of one of my first layouts I ever did and then I am going to show you an example of my more current work. Hopefully you will see a big difference in my style.

Scooby Doo where are you? Blog Hop 2/23/12

Welcome to Scooby Doo Where Are You???? Sew glad you could join us today on this adventure in the Mystery Machine. We're en route and the Mystery Machine breaks down . . . oh no, what can we do???? My project is a one page digital layout I made of my husband. My husband suffers from Epilepsy. It's hard to watch him go through all the pain and suffering that comes after his seizures. During his seizures, he thrusts around, sometimes causing him to fall off a chair or fall out of bed. He chews up his mouth quite a bit so that it makes it hard to eat or drink anything for about a week afterwards. He falls out of bed at times which can give him a big bump on his head. Afterwards, he runs a fever and has a hard time remembering who I am or what my name is. I kid with him later that he always remembers Pugsley, our dog, before he remembers me. Sometimes the seizures cause a release of his body fluids. When I visit my husband at the hospital, he gets really angry at me because I tell him I am going home and that he has to stay there. I have to say I don't like seeing him this way. He spaces out and can't identify with people or things. His neurologist told me that sometime my husband may have a seizure and go into a coma and never wake up. It would be so hard to live without him, he is my world. I love him a lot. His father told me not to marry him because it would be hard living with Shawn but I told his father that I love Shawn and know what I am getting myself into. It hasn't been easy but I understand he goes through a lot and the fact is I love him. So now it's time to show the layout I made of my husband, who totally supports my crafting and is very patient as I tell him about my crafting and the things that happen online.

We're Off to See the Wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz to hopefully get the Tin Man a heart, the Lion courage, and the Scarecrow a rain! But there's the poppy fields to beware of as you could get very sleepy! The Wicked Witch but we know she's afraid of water. The flying monkeys . . . just totally freaky looking!!!! You're probably still dizzy from the spinning whirling twirling house and watching all those things passing by like a nightmare expecially that Miss Gulch on her bicycle! Poor Toto hiding in the basket, but can you blame him? Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain as he knows not what he speaks! And then there are the delightful munchkins that sing 3 octives highly than humanly possible. I almost forgot the good witch Glinda - how could I forget her --- she was just too sugary sweet to my standards but as a Good Witch goes, she was the best, but why didn't she just tell Dorothy she had the power to return all along and wait until the end - geesh!And then only bad witches are ugly --- come on now! Its the Merry Old Land of Oz! I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore Toto. . . .

My project today is a mini album of the Wizard of Oz.  See if you can guess which 2 pages have pockets in them to hold extra things you want to store in this album.  Hope you like it.

For my project today I created a two page layout that is just waiting for his pictures to be put into the layout to complete it. I hope you like my layout as much as I do. This layout might look familiar from yesterday's layout but I wanted to show you how much a layout can change looks with just a few changes.

Ready, Set, Go!

My craft room is still a work in progress and I am in the process of still renovating my room. I will continue to share pictures of the work in progress but decided to show you what my room started out as.

I have rearranged these things on this wall and added quite a few things to this area.

This desk has been moved to the wall on the left.

The rolling cart has been shifted to the closet. The scissors container has been moved to shelves on right wall.

I have added a long white shelf that goes the length of the whole wall under the 2 pictures on this wall.

This sewing machine and table have been moved to another room now.

This desk has been moved to another room.

You can now find my cricut on a rolling cart that is placed below one of my desks.

This is a new table I am adding to my room. As you can see by the big haul on this table, I have added quite a few new things to my craftroom including many new Cricut cartridges.
