I Love Being a Grandma Blog Hop 9/9/2012

Thanks for joining us for the I Love Being a Grandma Blog Hop.  Since I really never knew my own grandparents as the last one died when I was 10 years old, I chose to dedicate this hop to being a new grandma of a five plus months grandson, named Maxwell Thaddeus Peters.  My project today is a 2 page layout titled, "Grandma's Little Stinker."  I bought the skunk paper piecings from an online fund raiser for a woman who lost her fiance.  Knew they would be just perfect for a layout with Maxi on them.  Hope you enjoy my layout as much as I had making it.

Here is the lineup to help you continue on your way.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will stop back again real soon for more great projects.

  1. Lynne ~
  2. Kimberly ~  You came from here!!!
  3. Lisa ~  You are here!!!
  4. Laura-  You go here next!!!
  5. Claire -
  6. Ellen -
  7. Anita ~

There will be a prize from Lynne's stash bin to one lucky winner who comments on each stop along the way!!! Hope you are enjoying our projects and if you want to become a follower, we would love to have you join us!

Boys and Their Toys Blog Hop 9/6/12

Boys and Their Toys
No matter what the age, boys have always had their toys. The older the boys get the more expensive the toys to say the least!!!!

My brothers when they were younger always had their trucks, Matchboxes, Hot Wheels, not to mention the construction sets. Now, that they are older, my one brother has his trains and his antique car that is his pride and joy!!!!!

We are about to discover what toys our boys have and had with this hop and hope you sit back and enjoy our stories.

My son had all these things I have on this birthday card I created using my pattern Oh Boy which can be found at and it has the cutest boys also included in the file.
